“Birdman” should be seen by any and everyone who says they enjoy movies, because whether you love it or hate it, it will get under your skin, burn itself into your memory, and demand an emotional, visceral response, as all true art in any medium does.
Visually ambitious but thematically heavy-handed, “Interstellar” aims for a soaring, suspenseful film experience, but ends up collapsing under its own weight.
